Some Over The Road Scenery and
A few vids from last week. This is from a trip to Nipawin, Saskatchewan, and was shot just shy of Kenora, Ontario. About 1200 miles north of Toronto.

zip.. what's the long gear in a truck that size? they seem to pick up speed in what I think is 3rd or 4th

That truck is a straight 10 speed Eaton Fuller; 5 down & 5 up. The first 5, or low range gears are more to get moving, then the next 4 pick you up some speed, and the last gear takes more to get rolling since it's taller. That truck is done though. That video was it's last trip, and we're getting a new Freightliner with a fully automatic trans in it next week. The old Mack has 743,000 miles on it. Not kms. Miles. It's a 2001 model. lol

A Few Observations from Mamastang
1) that's alotta "bull" in a few of those pics.
2) a UFO? Really? What the hell was that about? lol 3) Was that car/truck/sled thing a decoration in someone's yard or their actual transportation? 4) Beautiful country pics! 5) You sure know how to work a stick.

i meant ratio.. rmp range.. when I see one driving down the road it's slow as hell from a start but in about 15 seconds or so it just starts to take off.
