Spent a few days doing the doors and the new system and I know some of you will hate me now but its ok I have another mustang to daily drive soo this one doesn't need to be functional






And if anyone is curious its a 1200 watt RMS MA Audio competition amp, BOSS competition capacitor and 15 inch MA Audio competition Subs

and the doors honestly take about 6-8 hours not 4-6 like they say because there is usually alot of adjusting if you want them to function perfectly and they were not the first set I have installed

Cobra looks great man. Looks like a winner to me. That car has got some clean lines and imo, those doors don't disrupt the looks of it at all (like most people will say about those vertical door kits on stangs).

How many trophies have you earned with that car? Looks like quite a few Good job!

Well I usually was getting 1st or 2nd or top ten sort of stuff before the new system and doors but the first show since the mods I grabbed a 1st place for ford and hoping I can have a repeat and grab 1st again at this years NOPI New England like I grabbed last year

where did you get that custom trunk lid mat that says "cobra" on it?

You can get the doors from abc exclusive they are the same as the pure mustang performance ones and the trunk lid mat I had made by grandesignmatt I have made a few like them for buddies but I got that exact one from grandesignmat a few years back

Personally I think its horrid

The flames are done decently, just dont look good on a mustang.

The lambo doors are just plain played out and well .... retarded.

Theres no doubt time and money was put into this car, and I cant knock you for it because it is your own personal taste, and you did with it as you please. At the end of the day if thats what makes you happy, then thats all that really matters.

But you did ask for public opinions so I gave mine without being to harsh.

IMO I wouldn't put the doors on. I bought my DD (not a mustang) with them already on it and I need to replace one sprocket and the other door needs to adjusted (it sags so when you close the door you have to pick it up or you cringe) also in my car parts of the fender had to cut away to make room making them weaker but I don't know how they fit on mustangs. Another problem is that it's harder to get in which isnt a problem for me but for some passengers it's a problem. Don't get me wrong they look cool but they also add more weight

The hinges don't add too much more weigt to a cobra that the iron block hasn't already added lol, the hinges fit with just slight trimming so you are allowed to keep one of the fatory attachements inside out of 2 and on a mustang with the doors you can open them out to the side without opening them up, so people dont know it has lambo doors unless I feel like opening them up after I open them out, there are little adjustment screws that effect how low the door goes to close its just a little allen cap screw usually and lock nut you have to adjust not that big of a deal if you can get to it and depending on the kits you get some have really crappy struts, I have 650lb struts on my kit

As far as someone else asking if they are worth 1000, I didn't pay 1000 for my kit I think I would have put it off longer if I had to pay that much can't really go into details cause what everyone can get them for differs depending on how much they have done to their car etc, its just a look thing so ask someone else if they thing their body kit was worth whatever they paid etc. Its just another mod to make it look pretty or stick out some more but when I got them for as cheap as I did it was a why not sort of thing

They are something you don't really want to takle if you dont have the tools to do light metal work and if you haven't done much wiring etc... they cost alot more when a shop installs them soo IMO if you can't get them at a decent price and install them yourself be prepared to spend alot of money on something that wont make you faster and they are also not the best for daily drivers because over time the set screw will turn itself out or wear down and you will need to adjust it so it is just right+ you need to open and close doors for your passengers because people for some reason want to rip doors out when they dont open out to the side all the way and they want to repeatedly slam doors when they dont close the first time

i just traded away my hinges on my eclipse, i grew tired of the lambo thing very very fast, the car looks good though man, you've put some awesome work into it
