4th o'July shots

This was seriously the first day I got to actually relax in probably 6 months. So I busted out the camera while kicking it under the fireworks, just a couple for you guys:

The finale was tough as the light emited became over powering- need some practice there..

This one was pretty much free, I recently sold my XTI to upgrade to a 1d, but backed out of that and grabbed a Canon 40d. XTI sale covered the cost after canon rebates.. so no out of pocket expense.. Always a good thing..

By the way, an entry level camera can get these shots.. It's not the cost at all..

well my cell phone camera is better then my girlfreinds camera that she has and hers is like 120 bucks and my camera cant do shots like that lol

"All" you need is a DSLR to take good pictures. Even some point and shoot cameras are really good. Either way your looking at like $300 for a decent used DSLR / High Quality point and shoot. $500 for a brand new DSLR with a lense. Nikon D40X or Rebel XTI are probably the best to start with if your buying brand new. I got a really good deal on a Nikon D40 and I love it.

I was hoping to see some shots of the car with the fireworks in the back!

yeah, that would be nice, but the punk kids in the suburbs here can't respect peoples property. Bottle rockets and suck get laid on the street horizontal on a regular basis and last thing I want to have to do on my relaxing holiday is track down some delinquent for eleanor damage.. Otherwise, for sure, works in the background would be a sweet shot..
