Spotted these two by work today...

there is a motorexpo going on here in the financial center in new york that ends today...figured I'd snap a few pictures of these cars as you don't see them often. There were a few bentleys, maserati's, porsches, audi's, jaguars, a rolls royce phantom, fisker hybrid car...and a couple of others including these. I figured I'd take a shot of the Veyron being they are so rare and also the Aston Martin DBS

The Veyron is made by Bugatti and costs 1.4 million lol It was the fastest production car in the world until the SSC Ultimate Aero took the spot. The veyron is a 1000hp animal lol it has a W16 motor with quad turbos. There is a common misconception that you need both keys to unleash all hp but i asked the sales guy and he said that the second key that goes in the floor is only needed to go over 235mph lol...All 1000 hp is there with just the single key. On top gear they said that the car has a top speed of 251 mph and that the tires explode after 12 minutes...but it doesn't matter because the fuel runs out after 9

Yeah the Veyron is beastly...But really, having all that HP and such is useless because it's highly impractical for street driving. And really once you start taking about those kinds of speeds and HP numbers whose number one is kind of like virtue amongst whores. Nice to talk about it, but in the end they're all pretty much the same.

i know all about fastfox he used to have a nice S197 also lol...his aston martin is a db9 volante though still a really nice car

Yeah the DBS was a little out of my price range. If I was going to step up to that range I would have preferred a Audi R8.

they actually hit 255 on that show

for that price range you could step up to a lamborghini gallardo lp560

didn't take one lol I was more excited about the veyron, the DBS was right behind it along with 3 other Astons. Fisker looks nice but at 50 miles per recharge it's not that attractive when you factor in it's price lol
