Here's a few pics me and my friend took last week, it was kind of last minute notice, so it was pretty dark, and our only light was the yellow lights, but some came out pretty good...

not to mention neither of us know much about using a DSLR... kinda just used the automatic setting, and what little lighting we had...


mine is the 01 v6 vert obviously, and the other is my friend's 02 s10 (2.2L I4)... (he is a member on here, but don't think he logs on much...)
so yeah, we're both slow as hell, but at least the cars look good

not sure if too many of you guys are into the minitrucking thing, but since I'm around it a lot, and have seen this s10 come a long way from what it used to be, the whole minitrucking style has grown on me a lot... it wasn't really my thing before, but now I really like them. I actually have considered getting a first gen before and doing a hot-rodder slammed minitruck as a side project

but that involves money... which is what I lack...lol

anyway, here's more...

if I was to do one, it would probably something like that, or a 1st gen s10... the newer rangers and s10s are cool, but I like the more muscle look of the older models

yeah i was goin 2 slam my old ranger and have that be my new minitruck but i gave that 2 my uncle so that didnt work out 2 well lol

I did a quick edit on the first picture to see if I could draw back some of your detail. The yellow hue was real bad and it drastically takes away from the red in your car. So I focused on that to draw attention back to the car itself, literally 30 seconds in lightroom the car has a magenta hue to it now, but that can be removed as well. Each tweak has a recourse to it. Need to bring the saturation in red back up. Anyway, most ofthe yellow haze is gone..

yeah, I had used lightroom to edit these too, but I'm new to it, so didn't know too many ways to fix those... most I could do was take out the yellow, everything else took a ton of color out of the car...

here was the original, with no editing...

and this was the best I could do...

that's a reason why I hate taking pictures under the yellow lights... my paint turns from red to orange... even to the naked eye... most people at late night car meets think I have an orange stang, and a few of them are pretty surprised when I show up in daytime

I know it. See it all the time in parking garages and such. I don't know why the yellow lighting is so used. Suppose it uses less power and burns longer. It looks like ass though.

ifs its 2 wheel drive and a mid size truck slam it on the ground if its 4x4 on anything sky jack it thats my philosophy on trucks

It was a lexan rear window that was made like that.

Thanks for the compliment ItaliStang. I got that hood for like 150 from a buddy who was getting out of the mini world, so you can imagine how quick I snatched that up.

As far as the lifting thing goes..I'm just not into that on smaller trucks. Something like an F150, Ram, Silverado..I'm all for it..sometimes. They do look good on the ground though..
