ash tray switch plate

here are a few pics of my progress... still needs a little trimming, but it fits pretty well...

still dont know what switches to put in it...

and am probably gonna have it powder-coated, so it wont get scratched..
but if it ends up looking pretty good, ill probably make a few to sell as well

Nice work 98SilverStang, I did the same thing. Mounted my nitrous purge button there, although this winter I will be moving the rest of my nitrous switches into the ashtray. That means I get to make a new one yeah.

Not a good pic but here it is.

Yeah I used the same thing, just painted it and cleared. This time I think I will do something a little different, just not set in stone yet, but with winter coming I will have some time to finalize a plan as Most of the interior will be pulled for a little custom work. I was thinking on the lines of a brushed aluminum finish IDK. Get some pics of the finished product when its installed as Im quit interested to see.

Put a master switch, a heater switch, and an arming switch. That should wrap it up.

Autoone is good. I personally don't see a reason to run a purge for most uses, but that is up to you.

you dont have to have a purge unless you are looking for real consistant track times. For just playing on the street or screwing around you are fine without one.

I know. There were so many times in my SS that I wish I had it just to fuck with people. But that's a real quick way to waste the dope.
