Cheers Kerry, know what you mean about the interior - it lets the car down completely. He's on about getting the leather re-trimmed on the seats, not before time! He's also got some ally trim on order to replace the wood.

The wheels won't be staying long either, they're actually earmarked for his '68 Torino when he's finished the engine mods and fitted it (the Torino's actually behind the left door on the garage behind in pic 3, his 1957 Plymouth Savoy's behind the right door)!

Still a real scream to drive though, love it every time I get the opportunity!!

no offense to you or your friend but I thought I would just state my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. I think he ruined the car with the white stripes and the wheels don't help. He atleast needs to lower it slightly and put a different set of wheels on it in my opinion. I know some people just like to be different but there are many different sets of wheels out there that I feel would make that car look a lot more clean. I always have loved the 96 mystics.

No offence taken mate, in fact I completely agree. If it was my car, the stripes would go straight away. They're actually stuck on anyway not painted and by the previous owner, not my friend. I've tried to talk him into taking them off but you just can't tell some people...

I'd definitely lower it with maybe the addition of a ground effects kit (Roush?) and at the least some nice big 5 spoke wheels. I'm not keen on the Hallibrands on it either, besides the looks it handles like a crock of shit with them on because the offset's all wrong. It was actually his missus that wanted to see them on the car - typical eh?! Although to be fair, she does want to make it quicker by putting a SC on it!

Appreciate your opinions though, like you say, everyone's entitled to them. Just a pity some people jump on you if they don't agree!

Hate it all you want fellas, I'd take it in a heartbeat No I don't like the dash trim inside - I'da spent the money on some gauges. But the wheels aren't too far from what I'd like to get - old Mach 1 replicas with similar knockoffs. I dunno though they didn't look like a match on that car. The stripes do more harm than good - the whole appeal of the mystic paint is being covered up so I'd def. remove 'em. But nice car (clean up that engine bay! lol)

Very nice though.

Just managed to talk him into lending it me for a few days whilst he does some work on my car. Well happy! Not many people round my way have a Cobra as a courtesy car!!!

Might give it him back with a few mods made...
