Show Me Your Drag Radials

I am getting ready to decide on whatsize and brand drag radials I want to run on my 05. Please post pics of what you are running and the size to help me make up my mind.

just for the track?

If so get some 15 inch rims and put the biggest mickeys you can on them.

these are 275 17 mickeys.

I believe Bogart is the only company that makes a 15" that fits our car. So if you have the money, get the bogarts and 15" DR's. You'll also have to do a little grinding of the calipers and relocate the rear swaybar. Or you can get a pair of 17" stockers and put the Mickeys on that are pictured above. Or the 275/50R17 M&H's that are taller but narrower than the Mickey's. Don't let the narrowness scare you. They stick just as good as the Mickeys.

yea it might not be a bad idea to trade the width for some sidewall.

Top pic. Hoosier slicks (not drag radials) going on the 15 inch rims
Next pic. Same tire under pressure during a typical Lance launch...lol
Last pic. Arriving at track with the new MT slicks
Sig pic. what Lance does to my brand new MTs

Street tires are just regular ones. Not even drag radials.

Any rubbing problems with the 305/45-18 Mickeys? Thats the exact look and tire I am wanting. Also what size rims are you running and have you lowered the rear. Thanks for the pics.

You can run that size as long as you don't have the eibach sportlines. It's a little too low. If you have the prokit or something equil, you'll be fine.

No rubbing problems with the Mickeys...car is lowered on Eibach prokit and the rims are 18 X 10 American Racing Shelby Thorqs.

Thanks for the pics, I think I will go with the 305/45-18's. That should give me what I'm looking for.
