A few pics from my collection The first Cobra in competition, OLOA Putnam Park Roadcoarse. The engineer driving it said the car was scheduled to be crushed after the race ouch  Had to take this, couldn't pass it up. Thats a freind in our clubs R sitting next to the Mach at a meeting.  06 World of Wheels Indianapolis IN.  At the strip

NICE! but why would the pretty R be scedualed to be crushed after the race?????? Ill take it! anything could be wrong with it I dont care I want it. lol

I think he was talking about the new GT500 in the first pic. Not as big of a tragity, but stil a tragity none the less.

The yellow Cobra was a production prototype,
It was the first Cobra to compete in public. But since it was a prototype it didn't have proper credentials to be sold, so they destroy them when their done, I think that one should have been saved. The R is verymuch alive and well, very well cared for. |
