ok for one i am one of many people on this forum that is a right to bare arms guy and belive that "The people shouldnt fear there government but the government should fear its people" thats what i belive.

The point of the second of amendment is giving us the right to form a militia by using arms that individuals buy in order to overthrow a tyrannical government.

Its sole purpose is to secure an individual's right for self-defense against government. "It" is the Second Amendment.

Yeah, i'm pissed off at the government. Time to go watch the patriot to get me riled up enough to form a militia.

The fact that the story about the protest/guns even made the news means we have changed from our roots as a country. Back in the early 1900's you think that would have even made the news?

If they want my guns, they can pry them from my cold dead fingers. People don't think it will happen but they forget what the police in New Orleans tried to do during Katrina in 2005. They walked into peoples' homes and confiscated weapons from homeowners, many of which were never returned.
