Or Southern California. I don't remember how many times I have waited behind someone at the Grocery store who was paying with food stamps, wearing designer brands, then when I get outside they are driving away in their escalade, or some other fancy car.

The best one was the lady who bought all the food with food stamps, then she brings out this like stack of 100 dollar bills to pay for the 150 dollars worth of booze she was also getting. ( food stamps won't pay for booze )

Oh yeah it's crazy. I see mexicans all the time driving the nicest cars with rims and all that... but I never see these cars parked outside of places that might pay enough to afford it, like a bank or something. It's ridiculous what these people get away with.

The only flipside I can say to this is the cost of food (and I certainly won't say it balances out). Your fresh-packed strawberries are $3.99/basket because people are getting paid $1/hr to pick 'em - oh, and that basket they're using, yeah that's a $5 rental to use it for the day.
