Many questions.
So i have been reading and still have no idea. How do you find out what your compression is? I am trying to decide if i want supercharger or stroker. I have a 69 351w and i want ot hit the 600whp mark. What do you recomend? I plan a rebuild very soon if needed. But if not needed then ill wait how do i know if its time?

IF your engine has never been re-built or for that matter really altered from it's original pistons and head combustion chamber config, and you have not had the heads milled or block decked, you should be able to tell what compression is by the engine code interpretation. That or a Google search would send you to a place where you could find out.
As a general rule streetable cars are not supercharged or turbo'ed with high compression, for that matter even sprayed. You can run sane compression 8, 8.5to1 even 9 to1 and supercharge. Lower is better as cylinder pressures get really high and head gaskets, detonated pitsons adn other issues can arise. There are a lot of things to consider before making a leap like that. The good news is that a Windsor block is pretty tough so you can expect a little more from it than a 302 2blt main block.

does your windsor have a 2 bolt main? what are you thinking about stroking it to? I doubt you will get to 600whp all engine, but honestly you don't need that much hp. i would suggest to stroke it, but your not going to get as much power, but i just like the idea of running all engine. i am looking into a 408 kit myself.
