Nitrous???
I am thinking about putting a little bit of juice on my 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 AOD. I was wondering if anyone had some good suggestions for what brand, jet size, etc. to get. The only modifications I plan on doing are cold air intake, TrickFlow upper and lower intake manifolds, BBK or maybe Hooker Longtubes, a Flowmaster Cat-back, and possibly a 70 MM throttle body. Anyone know what I should do as far as nitrous goes or possibly even changing/adding anything to my "wish list". Also I kind of don't want to give it away that I have spray when you look under the hood.

a plate system will probably be a little easies to hide. really it is where you decide to install everything, to the way it looks.

I ran the NOS dry kit (part # 05115-ii) on my 91 GT for years and nobody knew it was there. I had the soleniods mounted in the cowl and snaked the line up to the back of the intake where I drilled and tapped a hole for the nozzle and then put a 7/16" vacuum hose over it. The kit was good for 150hp. On a chassis dyno it actually made a little over 160 horsepower at the wheels.

so were you using an actual "under manifold" kit, or were you just spraying straight from the back of the manifold? and how big of a cowl did you have? |

so now if i do get any nitrous system i should get bigger fuel injectors to be able to add more fuel to the mixture if necessary. correct? not only that but could someone give me a link to a good dry system for about $600 or less and add about 150 horses at most. cuz it sounds like with my luck i would blow up my engine with a wet system.

i'm thinkin about getting nitrous for my auto 98GT. what's the max HP i can go with stock internals and with forged internals? also, what would be a good system for me. i'm thinking of building the car up to about 300HP N/A and then adding the nitrous.
