That is the exact page I was thinking about when I said that. I like the $17,495.00 one at the very bottom. I believe that's a forged terminator engine.

actually a forged block is only about $3700 for a decently built 600hp block, but you have to get it put in and everything.

Yes, but you still have to buy the power adder and have it insalled too.

POWER ADDER??? If you can get a block that is rated for 600 HP, you don't need a power adder. That is a lot of freakin power!!!! Unless you have a drag set up, that is more power than the car will be able to handle (traction wise) Not necessary to have any more that that much power.

Just becaust the block is rated a 600 HP doesn't mean it automatically makes 600 HP. It means it can take 600 HP without blowing up.

+1

the only thing my car would go to the shop for would be to get dyno tuned. i would do everything myself. i have pulled and replaced many engines in my garage. if i cant figure it out, i learn how to do it, its just the way i am with my cars.

Wasting money on forged internals in a stock 5 liter block is a waste of money.

You can put boost into a 5.0 without blowing it up. However, if you're going to put a lot of power int here, you need a new, stronger block before you need new internals.
