Just curious...
I have a 96 GT w/ 88,5XX on the clock. I was recently debating on selling it for a 96-98 Cobra, but I don't think I can part with the car. The only reason why I'd get rid of it is to get a faster car, but overall my GT is in perfect condition.
Now my question is, can my motor take a Ceterfugal Supercharger at low boost? I know the miles are high but I do baby the car 85% of the time and it runs real good, I just want to know if I can safley run forced induction on my car w/o any problems...

Most definately, 8-10# of boost would do wonders for that car. More important than the age, is the condition of the engine. If you've maintainted the car well then theirs no reason it can't last 200k miles with a blower (moderation is key).

I agree, less than 10psi and you will be ok. I'd much rather build a car the way I like it and want it than to just drive 'somebody else's" car

I bearly pound on my car at all, but on the few times I do I don't want anyhting else to screw up. I think my tranny could take a little more abuse, but not a whole lot more. If I run low boost how much horse do you think I'd get? 75 or so?

BTW anyone know some good sites that have some decently priced S/C kits around here?

I would say you will be fine with 10 or less lbs of boost, but have you considered the PI swap that will show some nice gains and you could throws some cams in. plus when it comes time to SC it you will have much better gains.
