v1 s trim vortech


whats the difference between this and a v2 sq supercharger? is the v1 a good supercharger?? i may buy a used one.

The V1 is not as Efficient as the V2...They changed the way the gears were cut...

the SQ is geared lower 3.61 for quicker spooling and standard s trim is 3.45

They both make the same hp per pound of boost The V1 has a higher geared internal step up so you have to run a slightly smaller pulley to make the same psi.. The V1 is also more reliable.

My V1 is making over 500 with stock heads and intake. Its also over four years old and 40k miles still kicking ass.

I dont know where your gettin that from, the v2 has is just as reliable if not more so, it makes more boost faster as well.

you wont get that from 8 psi - kenne bells dyno numbers are always pumped up - and 480 crank is about 400 rwhp - thats as far you should take it

who did your tuning, thats a nice setup and good reliablity, even ran mid 12's with that 60ft :wink
