Does any one know of an exhaust for a shelby thats not much louder than stock

the only reason i want an exhaust that is quiet is because my Gt had borla exhaust and was annoying had a droneing noise

Look I was just curious on why the hell he was wanting to buy a mustang and expect not to hear her roar .. its just puzzling .. I mean if you want quiet .. leave it stock .. its not that loud ... but when you have a supercharged motor .. and you want performance exhaust .. more often than not .. you're gonna get a sound increase and it just so happens the majority of people like it ... that is all I was saying ..
You really have few options .. get another car .. or leave the stock exhaust .. I mean if you want performance you're gonna want LT's a mid pipe and mufflers which is gonna make it louder .. I do know that regular magnaflows are pretty quiet ( not the magnapacks ) but I'm done .. |

If your just looking to free up some horses why not get a pulley, cold air, and a tune. The exhaust on those cars flow really good from factory, they already have 2 1/2 pipes and a x-pipe from factory.

I dont mind if its loud when you floor or it has a low rumble, but when it just drones and you cant hear the stereo its annoying.

Dude I put a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back on my car. That "american thunder" part is bs - it's really mild. Too mild, and that's saying alot coming from me because it's been a long damn time since I was sixteen and I don't care one bit for loud. If you just want a little rumble that's still relatively mild at wide open throttle get the american thunder cat back and be done with it.

Magnaflow is gonna be your best bet... Get an axle-back and call it good. They have excellent tone and don't drone nearly as bad as some others we won't name...
They don't have it on their website yet, but here's what I could find: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...erican&id=1347 and 1.800.824.8664 Thats the # to Magnaflow. Maybe they can give ya a release date... Hope it helps...
