Hows your fuel pump? Your fuel regulator? My fuel pressure at idle sits right around 40...But I have a mod engine so mine is prolly different... |

Do you turn the key foward and let the fuel pressure get to the right level before you start it?
Try that and see if it works then... |

Is that an FMU on the passenger side? If so, you shouldn't need it if you run 42's. I run the stock FPR with 42's, ditched the FMU and have 32 lbs of fuel pressure at idle.

ok,,,,i'll try that,i'm new to the whole sc'd scene.is the 32#'s of fuel pressure be set with the vac line on or off the regulator.also. could the 42's set at 40#'s with the fmu be causing the hard start,
thanks |

Keep the vacuum line on the FPR so it will work the way it was intended. Stock FPR's are 1:1 boost referenced so it will raise fuel pressure with boost as needed. Has your car been to a tuner since you sut the SC and 42's on it?
