Vortech supercharger


ok guys i have one on the way, has
the supercharger
air-water intercooler
39# injectors
bov
brackets for mounting
also coming with
forged rods, crank, pistons
stage 3 heads from ssms

now what else should i be getting to make this thing work to a its full potential

obviously a
wideband sensor
new cam
port and polished upper and lower intake
piping
fuel pump
smaller pulley
valves and roller rockers

what else would i be needing? mind you i know about a tune so don't say that

If you didnt do a full exhaust yet do it now to unlock the engines full potential,and if your car is not posi install one cuz you aint going nowhere

exhaust

with the cam get roller rockers

one heat range colder then stock plugs!!!! so 764 autolites or
i think its t-55 NGK

lookin at a 8.8 in the future but gotta start saving haha. and yes i have a full exhuast but i need headers still.
also the plugs i have at the platnum +4 bosch i think? can't remeber now but its the 4 prong no need for gapping anymore something a rather.

deffniitly loose the bosch plugs

get autolite coppers
765 or ngk vpower those are i think tr55

sounds awesome man, lets get some pictures up and definitely videos when you get this finished. I'de definitely like to see this.. something I definitely want to do.

How much have you spent already this far?

so hey just occured to me can i still do ud pulleys? like i tink i could but i would need a new belt obviously with the supercharger coming in

I recommend:

- Getting a new MAF
- Making sure your BOV can be set-up to recirculate to the powerpipe so you dont release metered air
- Find your tuner and ask him what else he wants you to get
- Buy an electric fuel pressure gauge so you can watch your fuel pressure to avoid spikes or runnign out of pressure
- Find the pump and resevior that is made for your air-to-water intercooler and also get the piping to plumb it up
- your also going to need some welding on the intake piping to make the BOV work properly

There are a few other thigns you need but this is just what I pulled off the top of my head while I am sitting here at work...

what's a "posi motor" that was mentioned above and i didn't know S/Cs had BOVs. is it the same sound as the turbos?
