then if you think by getting bigger turbos it'll solve that you just wasted the point of a quicker spool cuz now its harder for those 4cylinders to make boost

IMO single is better. the hit is stronger and it can still make BIG POWER

i know you dont wana here this and yes its a v6 but just an example

stroked v6 built on a single turbo was runnign 15psi and made 503rwhp

same built stroked engine with twins made 520rwhp @15psi

and the single was just a lil t3 flange but had a nice gt40r turbo

but non the less the twins also had very nice turbos as well

either way single can make the power you want for sure...for cheaper
although the power isnt much different, i bet the power curves are worlds apart and thats wut will make the twins more worth it

See I would not care about lag with a V8 anyway. You want to have momentum before the boost comes on anyway. If you have a 347 then you have plenty of torque to get the car moving then the boost will pick up and rocket you along. If the lag is very little or none like a twin screw then you will have lots more trouble puttin the power to the ground. Thats why IMO I would never go with a supercharger or a twin kit. Single turbo without a question if you ask me...

yea that's why i think i am jus goin to either go with a single turbo or a kenne bell twin screw. hopin to make around 380-425 hp and bout the same tq. numbers. i myself will probably rarely ever see the track (none within 100 miles) until all my mods are where i want them ti be/done. However if i do do a single set-up i will probly build it myself so what would be a good turbo to use? i heard t3/t4 "hybrids" are good but don't know what size to go with.

t3/t4's are only to be use for twins on a small displacement V8 like the 302

great for DD and weekend warrior use

I dont see why not, but it really depends on the size of the turbos...

im guessing you havent seen they're dynos
world different idk about that
plus theres a new guy with 15psi making 564rwhp single turbo
he's est to do 10.3 in the 1/4 in other words we'd give him mid 10s low 10s
J's best was 11.1 but he also had some small issues
