should have gotten aeromotive whats the problem and what do you need help wiht. should be a pretty strightforward install

Well, the problem is the mounting brackets. They line up perfect with the injectors. The mounting brackets do not line up with anything on the motor to mount to. I contacted Holley & that was a joke. They discontinued them in 2003. Holley & the instructions say they fit a 1996 to 1998 SOHC & DOHC. A friend of mine has a 1997 Cobra DOHC and it looks like they will match up with some of the Intake bolts, so I think they are an exact fit for a Dual SOHC. (I found this out this morning when I looked at his.) Mine is a 1996 SOHC. The only solution I can come up with is to pull the old stuff, place the rails on the injectors and fab some custom mounts. (I own a sheet metal shop.) I don't like it & would be open if someone else has a solution. I may be better off to scrap them and buy the aeromotive, but I am scared I will run into the same problem. What do you think??
