I dont know about Prochargers, but on my Kenne Bell oil should be changed every 12000 miles.
Before i decided to go with KB i liked the Vortech systems just because it uses engine oil. To me it makes more sense, as i change oils quite often so it stays fresh. Synthetic works great. I dont think that centris burn the oil like turbos, because theres no exhaust temperature. |

Prochargers need to be changed every 6000 miles. Oil can only be bought from procharger, I think it is around 20 bucks for 3 or 4 bottles. It takes almost one bottle per change. Changing it is not that bad, I usea funnel with a hose and it was not a problem.

It's really easy to change the oil on a ProCharger. I put paper towels over the belt so that oil splatter won't get on it or the pulleys and drain the oil without a funnel. I upgraded my warranty to three years for $75 and they sent me 6 bottles of oil at no additional charge so it will be a while before I have to buy oil. I've been changing oil every 5,000 miles (they recommend 6,000).
Be careful to not overfill the unit. Don't use the entire bottle. Use the dipstick to determine if the unit is full which leaves about an ounce still left in the bottle. If you overfill the unit, oil seaps out of the fill plug. It doesn't hurt anything but its a bit messy.
