you're gonna need to go to forged internals

by internals, i mean the crank, pistons and rods. in a stock GT, these components are cast. most people say that the stock internals will support 400 hp,but i wouldn't take the chance, upgrade the internals then crank up the boost!

really depends what you want
cuz if you want a streetable car then a HUGE turbo and big boost...is not a good idea. thats more for like 9sec and lower cars

i'd saya decent size turbo lik a t56 or smaller would be a good set up
also dependin how much hp your looking for...just getting forged internals might not be the only thing you want

a strong block, and a fully well built engine would be a safer choice.

also building the rear, suspension is another thing i'd recommend for big hp

depends on the size turbo you choose

different size turbos willproduce different amounts of hp

also depends on what your car has and how much hp you want

ok simply put: What kind of power would you like to make? What are you going to be doing with the car? is it a daily driver? is a track only car? what is a lot of power to you? you need to givwe us more information before we can even start to help you out. boost and psi are the same thing.

im not tryin to be a dick but

your asking questions about a car that:
a.) your dad sed your not getting
b.) you might not be able to afford FOR A WHILE!

i understand that planning ahead is good but were tlkin YEARS ahead

moving from an 04V6 to a 07GT isnt like switching rims

daily driver...
i think 1,000hp way to much for a daily driver. you'll just be stopping at every gas station u see

i'd say if u get twin turbo....stay with a lower boost set up...HP means nothing really, its all about tq

plus this will be your first car...a twin turboed GT for a first car is ASKING for a crash...most likely a fatal crash

i think you should start slow....

You don't even have the car? And its a 2007? I can guarantee you won't be putting a turbo on that for a while.

theres no max really

you cant limit or say that yea just at 950hp is a good daily driver

seriously for your first car....ad TWIN TURBOED or just turboed at mustang GT is NOT a good idea
first of just having a 300hp car for your first car isnt even to smart an idea, one that is new as well

i'd wait a while like 2 years or more for something like that....600hp car for your first car....not only is the project extremely challenging for a starter, but its not a challenge that a beginer should try first, and 600 or 500 hp with twin turbo is what you'll most likely be looking at..which is just WAY TO much power for what im guessin you are a 15-16-17yr old

i know someone with an 800+hp cobra and is 18 but hes been racing since he was 8yrs old. BIG difference
