Southfour's Winter Build & Decision Thread

Ok, so this winter I am going to be doing some modding. I have decided to stay with the stock internals for now mainly because my parents wont let me build an engine in my garage lol.

I have decided to go FI, I still dont know what though. I think that is going to depend on whatever pops up for sale when i have the cash. I should have enough for something mid to late december.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently the car has:

Mac Longtubes

Flowmater catback w/ super 40's
GT Rear Bumper Cover
Windstar kit with 65mm GT throttle body
EGR Delete
Custom 91 Octane Tune by the Mustang Shop (SCT X3)
AM Short Throw Shifter (Will be replaced with a MGW, this shifter sucks)
18x9 Hypercoated Saleens w/ Pirelli P Zero Roso 255/40/18
18x10 Hypercoated Saleens w/ Pirelli P Zero Roso 285/35/18

Brakes:

New 2001 Bullitt Calipers

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FI Part List (will be updated frequently, these are items I will be buying)

MAF (Yet to be determined)

Dang sounds like you have a lot to do. And since you have the LTs I would recommend a SC unless you are fine selling them.

If you go turbo, can I buy your LT's? Can't wait to see what you do regardless.

Sure, although im sure shipping would suck and im most likely going to go procharger or vortech. Unless a super good deal pops up on a turbo kit.

Also just bought one of these for my gauges, im thinking boost and wideband. Would i really even need any other gauges?

I think the gauges look fine without carbon fiber. As for gauges, maybe an A/F gauge?

get cobra gauges but get rid of the red SVT on them. with the cam and ported heads youll be shifting well after 6k so the crappy v6 tach wouldn't be the best IMO the cobra goes up to 8k i believe

its a street car, and im not swapping out the mach ones, i had them custom made. plus getting rid of the SVT and making it work in the sixxer would cost too much.
