2000stallions build thread

Here it is finally!!! Well, ive been collecting parts for a couple weeks now for my build. So i thought i would start my thread. Im hoping to hit at least 320rwhp after this. Im buying forged internals because my car has 130k on her and im going to be running boost. Where can i buy forged internals? SSMS has some but im not for sure about what to buy. but anyways heres my list:

Performance:
j-mod
subframe connectors
tower brace
bigger throttle body
cam
forged internals
vortech kit
39lb injectors
svt focus pump
Long Tubes
dyno tuned
8.8 in. rear end with 4.10 gears
Alum. Drive Shaft
Drive shaft loop

Appearance:
cutting springs
(2) 17x9 chrome 03 cobra wheels
(2) 17x10.5 chrome 03 cobra wheels
20% window tint
Smoked fog lights
cobra side scoops
Red Calipers

Also, on the interior, I want to move my heat controls to my bottom din, and put the boost gauge and maybe an a/f gauge or something in the top din. How hard is it to move the heater controls?

If anyone knows someone selling any of these parts let me know!

Alright, the vortech kit i bought is missing 2 oil lines, and oil pressure fitting. I couldnt pass up such a cheap kit though. So, my question is can i just go buy oil line from autozone? and 2nd, what is oil pressure fitting?

I was looking around on AM and was looking at coils....would getting a screamin demon coil pack do anything more? or will running my stock coil be okay.

Heres a few pics of what i have in:

Interesting welds on the vortech, the fitting you need (if i'm thinking right) you can get it straight from vortech, oil lines I'm sure there is a place in your town that can make you some braided ones, or you can use copper lines at like home depot....

Is it a v1-s trim?

130K is nothing btw, my stock motor is in a 99 v6 with a vortech thats been making about 300rwhp for 2-3 years now. And it came out of my car with 90k ish!

Edit:
I personally think i would UPgrade the intercooler

moving the HVAC stuff to the bottom din is simple, the hard part is mounting it

all you have to do is disconnect each switch from the panel and move it down, shouldnt take more then half an hour from start to finish. I did it for a while but i changed my mind about it.

So...your saying i should be fine running boost with my stock internals? I want to run at least 8... Its actually a v-2. Also, how much is the fitting and why would you upgrade the intercooler?

So i did a few things today...Tore apart my dash trying to remount my HVAC stuff. Your right southfour...remounting that is hard. I havent completely mounted them yet because they dont light up at night. Any Ideas? Anyways, im going to just buy a cd player border and fit it in there. Also, I painted my Knobs. Then also, i put some particle board down in my trunk to mount my sub and amp to so they dont slide around. But now my sub wont work...Im hoping its just a bad ground.....So thats all for now...After spring break, ill be ordering parts again!

Edit: I need a blow through maf since my kit is intercooled right? Where can i find one that will work?

Post a pic and let me see how those controls look mounted.

If you decide to do draw thru I got a 90mm lmaf for you too. it's supposed to be good for 375 in blow thru and 400 in draw.

Well since puny pony said to run the +05 and he already had the setup dialed in i'd probably go with the slot. Not sure I was gonna use it on my intercooled turbo setup, not sure if theres a diff. If you can find out from someone I'd give it to ya on the cheap again. since i'll be using the 73mm C&L now with my cammed stroker setup. pm southfour he had mentioned selling his longtubes to me awhile back. I can give you the link to the place where i just bought mine but i had to pay an extra 57 for the ceramic coated cause they're out of the chrome ones.

Still need to mount it. Im just dreading pulling apart the dash. They looks okay. But the paint has chipped in places. Im either getting billet ones or repainting these.

Mount the hvac plate from the back of the radio bezel. It will look much cleaner.

It looks as though the slot will not work with the LMAF, Also the slot looks to be a better option for you so i'd just go with the one you already posted.
