I'm definitely content! Need to get an exhaust on this thing though, its too quiet!

I need some input on accent colors. I could go with red, but its done so much that I don't really want to. I was thinking a dark orange would look good. I'd do calipers, valve covers, maybe some other engine stuff. I think orange valve covers with black coil covers would look sweet, what do y'all think? And any other colors you can think of?

Well red does look good I like the sounds of a darkish orange as well.

It's a little more plain, but I think silver would blend really well. White wouldn't be bad either.

So many colors!!! I think even yellow would look good! FUHHHHHHH....

But if I can find a dark orange I'm snagging it. All I've seen so far is Chevy orange, and that's too bright. White or silver are good options...but its got silver valve covers, and I'm not a fan of them...

And thanks zinc! I'm just glad I was able to snag it...

Damn that thing sounds pretty good! The owners of Maximum Velocity have an 03 Cobra that sounds fucking amazing. I forgot what system it had though. Whatever I get is definitely going to be a 3 inch system though, midpipe and all. I just have a hard time deciding lol. I like loud, but not raspy...

3" has a different tone to it. I had 3" on my gt and it sounded really good. there are a ton of great sounding setups out there for these cars. I like the borla catback and bassani mid I have for cruising around. When I hit the pedal to accel hard at all it get VERY loud. It's almost annoying :-/

Yeah it seems like its deeper and more aggresive. Its so hard to decide...I like how the slp will make people stop and look when you start it up, but thats about it lol. They just get too raspy. Who all even offers a 3" system?

really the only two i know of is mac and magna flow and im not 100% sure im right about magna flow.

mac sounds AMAZING in person. if i switch out my borla setup itll be for mac. im kinda on the fence about borla. loud as hell and sounds super good under normal accel but im not sure i like it about 3k rpms and when im really in the throttle.

I had a 2.5" off-road prochamber with stock manifolds and 2.5 mac catback with the 3.5" tips. I liked how it sounded and a few months later i put a v6 rear bumper on and unbolted the tips and had it end where the ball flanges go over the rear axle. Last week i traded my buddy for his mac catback that he had slp lm1's on. I loved the way m mac soundes cruising and idling but it was to quiet, some of that had to do with the prochamber. Also the mac catback to me gets to quiet up top in the higher revs.

If i had a cobra I would run a prochamber and probably borla stingers, I love the way it sounds on a 4v, especially a supercharged one. I plan on running that when I built my lincoln navigator 5.4l 4 valve

your ruining my positive expectations for the new to me catback lol. yea, noticed that from a few friends cars, I just think mac catbacks dont help it, also i wanted louder exhaust.

dont get me wrong, you can make it louder for sure my car is loud as shit no matter where you are in the rpm range but it is loudest between 2500 and 3000 rpms. my gt was loudest between 3000 and 3500 rpms.

I'll have to watch those vids tomorrow. I just REALLY have my heart set on a 3 inch system. Does Bassani make one? I thought thats what Tracy said she had on hers...hmm....

I had a prochamber and Magnaflow Magnapack system on my GT and fucking loved it. I miss that car so much now

That's what I'm hoping. I guess I'm just kinda...disappointed...with the Cobra. With the way everyone talks about them I expected more from it. Everyone says if you don't drive them right, you'll kill yourself. But that really doesn't seem to be true. Its just too tame for me I guess. I expected it to have more raw, tire-destroying, jaw-dropping, life-ending, "I think I may have just shat myself" power. Its just too refined for me I guess I'm probably the only one that feels that way. But maybe I'm just used to my Camaro...

i thought the same thing with mine. i thought it would be more raw and nasty but its calm and comfy. but thats what i like about it. my gt was a rough ride and the car felt nasty to drive and it was just a bolt on gt with 4.10s. the roads here in odessa suck so i love how much nicer this car is to drive and it is a lot faster, especially now with what ive done to it

Yeah thats what I hated about my gt too, it was loud, rough, and of course too slow. But now I miss the loud exhaust and stiff suspension. This thing just doesn't feel as stable to me when taking corners. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the IRS though, its just different than what I'm used to I guess. And I think the exhaust has a lot to do with me feeling like its not very fast

You'll like it a lot more once it's louder for me that has always made a huge difference in a car. Gotta have a nice exhaust note.
