same here, Modernracer.com says the 03-04 cobra does 0-60 in 4.7 and the quarter in 12.7...........Muscle Mustangs n Fast Fords said they tested a stock 03 cobra and ran a 12.43 at 113 mph.

I actually use to carry a list when I was racing the other guys in High School. However the list was all for like 1995 Civics and stuff because yeah, we were in high school and all their cars are crap.

cobras are nice but they have the same problems as with a lot of other fast cars. cocky drivers that have more money than talent. i have put 2 cobras, 3 ls1 vettes, 3 mach 1's, etc back in their place because of that reason, not trying to say i can beat them all and not trying to piss anyone off but a car is only as good as the drivers. the list is pretty close, it just depends on where you get your info from.

According to that list there are only 2 cars that can beat a Mach besides the Terminator - the z06 and the suby STI. That is a pretty short list. I have beaten my share of f bodies and GTOs.

Im pretty sure the C6 vettes will beat a stock Mach 1, lol

If u beat two terminators, u really did race some untalented drivers, LOL. I noticed that u ran a 13.2 with your car on slicks. I ran a 13.3 and a 13.2 with mine on Sumitomo street tires. Not all cobra drivers are untalented, I dont mean to sound cocky but u wouldn't put me back in my place if u run 13.2's on slicks.

Well that did sound pretty cocky. I ran a 13.1 @ 107mph on bald cheapo futura tires... with a 2.225 60' time... I know if I had a factory Cobra, underrated at 390hp, I'd be able to out run a Mach 1 with gears and a tune... and I'm a horrible driver.

That may be. However, I was only going by what was on the list. There are more than a dozen stock cars that will take a Mach. Probably as many that will take a stock Cobra. I am not really much for lists. Take to the track and see what you can do. I have killed more than my share of f bodies that were just sure they were going to beat up on my little 281.

Ok, now if thats really all the mods that u have and if u really run a 13.1, you are not a horrible driver. My car can run mid 12's but I could only get a 13.2 cuz my tires loose traction too easily. They're good for handling but not launching. So stop tryin to make it look like Im a bad driver. And dont reply sayin that u had alot of wheel spin when u ran a 13.1 cuz I'll just laugh at u. And I'll know that u have other mods, lol

If it wasn't apparent that I had a lot of wheel spin with a 2.225 60' time then you don't seem to know much about drag racing. It was either major sheel spin or I killed the engine off the start line, which didn't happen. I'm running 4.30 gears, o/r x-pipe and a tune from VMP. I made 308hp and 331tq at the wheels, n/a, and I am sure you've talked to draginracin on here which he says he has 300 at the wheels and he just ran a 12.5ish. With 107mph trap speed I should be running 12.5's but I'm not a great driver yet. Heck, all I need to do is cut .5 off my 60' which shouldn't be that hard even with the shitty tires I have now. I wasn't posting to make you look like a bad driver, just like I said you sounded cocky and it wasn't really necessary. Running a 13.2 with 390 from the factory isn't anything to be bragging about.

Check with OrangeRcode about what he has done and the times that he runs at the track. He is a good driver, and his times reflect it.

thats weird, how can u have 308 hp at the wheels when the 03 mach 1s come with 305 at the flywheel stock, according to modernracer.com. How much of a hp gain did u get with the tune, lol?

I wasn't braggin about my 13.2, I said what I said cuz of what Sweet2kstang said about putting 2 cobra drivers in their place when he ONLY runs a 13.2 on SLICKS. My point intended was that not all cobra drivers are untalented if I run his best time spinning on street tires.
