There is no teaching really. YOu tell somebody the principle of doing it and what you do to powershift and you basically run with it. At least I did.

I mean I'm no expert at it (and I ahrdly do it because I don't really have the money to dump into a blow transmission), but I've done it a few times with the stock shifter. I haven't done it with the short throw.

Honestly, it's not worth it unless you really have the money to spend on fixing your drivetrain. I mean is a possible .3 off your quarter really worth $1400 in parts/labo for a new transmission?

It isn't to me.
