03 eclipse GTS vrs My 96 mustang gt

Like the title says i have a guy really wanting to race me with his new "freakin fast" eclipse... and i havent ever really heard anything about them, im guessing right off mine will smoke him but not sure. wanted to check it out with you guys before i raced. his is bone stock 5 speed. and mine is a 5speed with exhaust. thanks

Ok, do you know by chance what the horsepower diff is? i have asked before i here what the horsepower on a gt 5.0 is but i ended up getting a year newer 4.6 and dont have any idea what horsepower it has. anyone know?

somehwere around 240 or something like that

when u race him, remember, dont spin them alot, you'll lose too much traction that way, u want them to spin a little for like a second and a half
