im trying to get the licence plate, LS WHAT

LSX motors are great engines... and I would love to have one in a stang... but honestly I think I got less money in my engine right now than it would have been to just get an LSX motor to run in my car.... and I am not even stroked... oh and it runs pretty damn good...

Uh, the guy with the 02 GT must either really suck, or the 2000Z28 must have had more than that in it.

I've seen similar races, and most every time the GT wins.

I walked a vortech'd gt at the track myself. His 12.8 at 109 wasnt any count to my 12.7 at 113 with a 2.2 60 lol. I just had a lid and longtube headers. He was on et streets too. And MustangMatt you've got a strong running car, i can guaratee it was cheaper to build you engine than a ls too! Your 351 is a windsor right? Im researching and really liking those engines.

Of course it is going to be smack talk. It was Chevy guys talking about Ford guys. Now lets compare the NEGT to the LS1 Camaro/TA. 75hp difference and that is a lot last time I checked, not to mention a crap load of low-end.

The topic was not the 05s+. If you really want to, do a search and I'm sure you'll find some 'smack talk' there.

Maybe a stock LS1 from the 98-00 years where they made 320hp...but not a bolt-on LS1. I used to be an LT1 guy, I know the LS1 rag that goes on there too. I got an LS1 a few months back, 2001 WS.6, and with just bolt-ons it made 336rwhp and 348rwhp after the tune. The LS1 is fast and really, the only Mustang I should have a problem with is 03-04 Cobra or the GT500s. They are GOD. You can make any car fast if you put enough into it, but stock for stock that is where they stand and that was the point of the thread...in case you didn't know.
When you say the only mustang you will have a problem with is a termi or a gt500 what do you mean out of curiousty? stock for stock I took some ws6's and modded I think my gt on motor could give you a problem.

Your absolutely right. I never count out the gts, yours on motor will smash a bunch of the ls1s in my area including mine as of right now
It really runs STRONG for your mods, right on par with a heads/cam ls1 too, but stock for stock i NEVER had a problem with a stock gt.

It seems from his sig that he has bolt ons and no motor work so i was wondering why he said he would only have a problem with termis and gt500s. Maybe he ment stock idk.

Oh I am sure it's happened. It's just not the norm.
