Trust me I know what your talking about, I need to ride around with a camera to take some pictures and post some of these things. Some people forget cars need to be washed and worked on sometime!

Thanks man. I think I was 16 when I was talking shit. Ahh young and dumb ha. Well I am looking for modded f-bodies this summer for sure! But I know a big cammed and PP head SS with steep gears will still run me..or I think..idk much about them. I am looking for 380 or more rwhp. Then the stall and gears will be nice to compliment it! Removing the front sway bar too. What is done to your ride?

Its full boltons with a small 226 cam and a hsw/nos wet nitrous kit, suspension, full exhaust. Hopefully I can put down 390ish now n/a and over 500 on the bottle. Doing a headswap beginning of the year, my goal is to roll on a 600cc streetbike

See I would race you from a dig with you NOT a spray! I am guessing you have forged internals?

Talking about heads, there are a lot of LSx owners over at ls1tech.com that are in total denial about the new Twisted Wedge heads for the 2v

For example

There will never be a head created on Gods earth that will put a 2-valve Mustang on par with the LS1, not N/A no way. It's just too easy to get into the 10's all motor with our cars. 99-04 GT's all motor are turds, that's just the facts. sorry
Someone is in for a big surprise.

I think what most of the guys on tech are saying is that no set of heads is going to make up for the difference in power. In the link you posted that car made 330rwhp with h/c, intake, and full exhaust with long tubes. I've seen a few bone stock LS1 cars put down 330 to the wheels (but it is rare). All it takes is a few bolt-ons for the LS1 to reach that power.

No heads are going to make up the more than 70 hp difference.

And just to stir the pot. An LS1 with an expensive set of heads and cam (singular) with full exhaust is most likely going to make well over 100 more to the rear wheels.

With a mild cam. I also posted a link where someone with a larger cam etc was making almost 400. But no, that isn't what he was saying. He was saying that there was no way a 2v was keeping up with even a stock Camaro N/A. That wasn't all he said to me.

People have garnered a 100hp addition with the trick flows, and a larger cam, intake, and exhaust etc.

I am referring to a stock LS1. Which is what my claims where.
