My Stang vs random crotch rocket

4-lane road this morning, long straight away. I'd been zipping a little bit and this motorcycle passe me, gets in front, slows down, turns his head and nods at me.

OK, he'll blow by me, but what the heck...

He's about 4 car lengths in front when I oblige. Drop down to 3rd gear at 60mph. Blew by him by at least 25 mph when he pops a wheelie from a few lengths back and accelerates.

I'm watching him in the side mirror and he's coming on strong. When I hit about 125, he blows by me by at least the same 25mph that I blew by him on a running jump start.

Then we're catching up to traffic. I'm not real experienced in what its like for a 130 mph car to run up on a 60 mph car, so I let off way sooner than I needed to.

But he had his fun. We both knew most any fast car is no match for a very average crotch rocket.
