Good Places to Race

Hey I just got my 98' Stang' not to long ago and its still stock. I would like to know if there are any good drag strips near Whichita, Kansas I could go to find races at just for the fun of doing it and also to find out how it handles under race conditions (and myself as well) keep in my I just want a place where I don't have go through the hassle of entering a tourny or paying to race unless its just like a few bucks to use the track.

most tracks charge about 15 bucks for test n tunes. dont race on the street, and since it WILL be on the track, a dig is the only option

Thank you guys. And yes AtlanticBlue99 I would never consider street racing for a second. But there is a town of 6 people or less (if not zero) out in the middle of the country with a flat and nicely paved main street about the size of a 4-lane highway and close to 1/2 a mile to 3/4 miles long and not to far from my hometown (which isn't very big either). I've heard talk the few citizens actually allow this road to be used for racing as long as it's conducted in a safe manner, during the day only, and actually hold a tourny sometime every year or month. Also the closest police station or cop in general is like 25-30 miles away.

digs definently show driver skill a whole lot more than a roll, but its hard to stop on a street without causing alot of attention, stopping traffic, ect.

with that being said for street racing, the only type i will do is a roll, it leaves pretty much not trace you were there, traffic distrubance kept to a minimum, and your out of the area just like that, no sitting around for the po po to come.

rolls are alot smarter if you dont want to get caught.
