Just got back from the track

Made a total of 5 passes at the track tonight. Track is an 1/8 mile track, but it is actually one of the nicer ones.

1st pass - 7.92 sec @ 92.03 mph, air pressure of tires 20 psi

2nd pass - 7.96 sec @ 92.04 mph, air pressure of tires 20 psi

3rd pass - 8.18 sec @ 88.61 mph, lowered air pressure to 17 psi

4th pass - 8.08 sec @ 88.40 mph,air pressure same as previous pass, but missed 3rd gear

5th pass - 7.74 sec @ 93.75 mph, air pressure was raised to 25 psi, and I ran the car out in 3rd gear.

I was very pleased.......car needs some tweaking. It is the 1st time this car has been down the track,and I haven't driven a car down a track in probably 5 years.

'83 Mustang...................tire pressure went from 20 psi to 16, then back to 25.
