you should but i warn you they are fast!!! i raced a TL, the little s.o.b. kept up with me all the way. at the time i didnt have everything done on my car as i do now but you have to give the car respect. we ran from 45-120 and i was about 1 car on it by the time we shut down. i am a pretty damn good driver, so watch yourself when you race one.

Since you brought it up, GreenFaleen (or anyone else who wants to reply), I was reading an article on C&D's web site that suggests that 0-60 can be accomplished faster than 5-60. What?!?! How does that work?
Actually, I have a V6. I was just wondering if the GT would be able to out-perform my buddy's car... It's a real problem having an apartment that overlooks a large Ford dealership. :wink |

The 1/4 mile times for the stock 2004 TL are in the low to mid 14 second range.
The 1/4 mile times for the stock 2007 GT are in the mid to high 13 second range. You should be able to smoke these as long as you're banging your shifts properly.

As I said... it's very dangerous living in an apartment overlooking a Ford dealership. I traded my 07 V6 Mustang for an 07 GT Mustang. To answer my own question: Yes, a stock GT can kick a stock TL's butt on the 1/4 mile and the 0 to 60. :award
