held an sti

hey I raced an STI (the turbo subaru wrx) the other day and I stayed pretty much neck and neck with him.

I thought those things were nasty fast?? was he f'n with me or what? I have an 02 gt with pulleys and catback. when his turbo spooled up he started to inch ahead but not a whole lot.

Maybe he couldn't drive worth a shit. Again, not a put down to your ride, but perhaps he wasn't quite with it.

thats what i thought. i new those cars were faster than that. he was prolly just a really dumb driver. he didn't want to go from 40 because he said i would smoke him b/c of his turbo lag. i didn't think the lag would be that bad on those cars. w/e.

once im supercharged we'll go again. then ill give him a good smoking.

Sweet. Let the spankage ensue.

Yeah I raced a Subaru Legacy GT, which is only 250 horse, and with the AWD he still jumped me off the line, but I got him in the end. Barely. So the STI should be even hotter.

what do u drive Snaken, I love how those AWD cars pull of the line, one of the evos I raced was cool and actually gave me a full car length head start, and we took off, right away he got a car length ahead of me, I stayed at his ass through the end of first gear, in second I pulled up even with him, third I started pullin away slowly, he said he had one mod but wouldnt tell me what

I'm waiting for one to pull up next to me on the street. If he has been cruising, his intercooler's hot..... and is just and average driver???? I would bet money on him.

I've never seen a 2.0L turbo run a 14. The NA 2.5L I have seen run a 14 but that is a non turbo STI. But all 3 I haved raced were 03's

never heard of the site, but low 14's seems like a lot when a sti with a normal driver runs like a 13.5
