I have a couple buddies that have crown vic PI's, one is a 94 and the other is a 98 i believe...and while I haven't raced either of them I'm pretty sure they will handle a v6 mustang pretty easily.
They are heavier than a mustang but are also pushing about 40 more horsepower than a stock v6.

it would be close... but n2o is fine as long as you don't spray it right away or spray it all the time... as for the cams i'm sure someone will chime in soon... and you'll want to get some good tires so the power actually makes to the ground!

This video is a classic and that driver knows how to whip that pony like a champ! I think thats a GT in the video to..

Now... a crown vic wouldnt get a GT would it ? stock to stock ?

Depends on the race and the years involved. From a dig in most cases the mustang should win. In general the Pvic would be slightly under in power compared to the GT mustang of its own year.

i have a 2000 mustang v6 stock and my friend has a 2001 crown victoria interceotor stock and he creamed me in a 1/2 mile race....he got to 110 and he wasnt floorin it...i floored it as usual and got to 102 befor we both stoped
