06 Stock Mustang GT vs 2010 Stock Camaro?

this kid in school has a 2010 camaro and he is always braggin and i wanna shut him up. but he got racing shifters but he has automatic and i only have automatic one thing i realize was the mine was v8 and he was v6. who would win? cuz i wanna shut him up asap

Not sure how much of a difference the paddle shifters on the camaro would make, I honestly don't think a whole lot.
I think it would be close though. V6 Camaro is 304 horsepower stock or something about that. I'd imagine it would be up to the drivers and which car can put the power to the ground better.

The 2010 v6 Camaro is rated at 304/276.
A 2006 GT is rated at 300/ over 300 and probably weighs less.

You should beat him given equal drivers.

Sounds like a good race. you should get a friend to ride shotty and record. probably a skinny non heavy one as it wouldnt help to have big tubby weighing you down recording a video

You should win. I have raced a few new V6 Camaros and form 0-80 I can pull 3-4 lengths every time.

considering the 05-10 gt's run close with the 2011 mustang v6's, and the 2011 v6 beats the new camaro v6 pretty bad, you should be fine and definitely win.

You have more torque and less weight and about equal power, and you have a better powerband. This is your second benchmark race. Go do it and report back (legally if not in the street section which you don't have access to yet

) But I think you will win without much trouble. The 2010 Camaro V6 is a boat.
