04 auto convertible v6 with CAI(K&N), dual exhaust, underdrive pulley's, t-lok and 4:10 gears. and sct tuner tuned for premium gas and ultimate performance vs a stock 05 gt in an 1/8 mile?

lol haha i'll have her come up to the local 1/8 with me once it gets warmer and i get my new tires soon and we'll take a couple passes. personally i think she will shift way to slow. but then again.. she has more power

Well, is the '05 a convertible as well? If so, you could probably take the 1/8 thanks to your gearing. If not, it comes down to the driver.

Well i was going to trade mine in for an 05 gt, but it just bogged when i got on the gas I hated it. It was an auto so that could have been it. I drove 2 autos and a stick and I couldn't get them to launch at all and neither could the salesman.

my bro has an 07 gt stock so if you think you can run a 8.9 in 1/8 then you have a chance.

Well i was going to trade mine in for an 05 gt, but it just bogged when i got on the gas I hated it. It was an auto so that could have been it. I drove 2 autos and a stick and I couldn't get them to launch at all and neither could the salesman.

wierd, mine doesn't bog at all... hell I spin the tires launching @ 3500RPM's, mines a five speed. Hell, I even chirp the tires shifting to second when I'm pushing her hard

theres a question? i think the new gt definantly has it, 4.10's will definantly help the six but those gt's have 3.55's and with all that extra hp and torque the gt will take it

Yeah, no real contest here. Unless your mom feels bad for you and lets you win... The new 05's are a lot quicker than most seem to think.

Oh yeah i don't deny they are fast but they didn't have that pickup off the line i thought they would being a 300hp car. Now get some gears in that thing and I don't deny it would rape, but an 8.9 in the 1/8 isn't to hard for a v6. I run a 9.2-9.4 and I don't have gears.

ya i didn't really think i would have a chance but just thought i would ask for your guy's opinions and i have driven some fing fast cars and my mom's and they aren't EXTREMELY fast but it sure did throw me back.
