ok so this guy i know wants to race my 06 gt against his 05 jetta vr6. Now ive already done the specs his car is a 4 dr front w/d. He claims he is putting down somewhere close to 325 hp with just c.a.i. short throw and a tune. What you guys think?

are you shittin me, an 03-05 vr6 puts down like 200hp at the crank dont they, typical ricer claiming he has 100 more hp than he really does, just race him and destroy him for his stupidity.

CAI and a tune is suppsosed to give a low displacement six-cylinder 325 hp? Uh-huh...

I mean, don't get me wrong, the VR6 is a kickass little motor, you get the torque of an I6 with the packaging of a V6, but it's not magical and filled with cold-air activated fairy-NOS.

if he has 325hp he has more done to it then hes letting on. I have owned a jetta vr6 and it was quick, I have seen a friend smoke a camaro in his vr6 but 325hp with those mods....I think thats pushin it

just to inform you my little V6 can stay dead even with VR6's. They are all over my town. Im not saying im super fast but if your in a GT you would literally RAPE him! and 325hp? He must have a lot of racing stickers
