2004 V6 Auto VS. 2010 Charger V6 Auto

I got a rental car a few days ago (2010 Charger) and it felt like my stang was a little quicker. Is this true?

EDIT: Stang is stock and so was the Charger obviously

Mustang > Charger

That felt weird comeing from a Mopar guy. But it's true.

For specific numbers I don't know. But I rode in a hemi charger and a slightly modded mustang, mustang felt alot quicker.

Mustang definitely feels a lot quicker but it could be the ride quality that makes it feel so much quicker.

EDIT: It just surprised me because i think its a really similar size engine but its 6 years newer

I know its a lot heavier and it has a 3.5L but the new V6 mustangs have like a 3.7 pushing 300hp so i assumed the charger would be much quicker than it was

My friend has a 2010 V6 charger and it feels like your driving a boat around, i dont think you should have any problems beating it

haha how about an 06 charger with the 2.7L v6? My Dad called it "dangerous to drive, because you can't hardly merge on the highway." They run a 0-60 in 11.3... rofl.
