I was doing 80 in a 65 when I was shot with a laser and I was already off at the next exit buy the time he pulled me over. I could of ran but I drive that way to work everyday and Im guessing there are not alot of cars that look like mine.

I could of hit the gas went up the on ramp over the bridge and back on the highway and waved hi to him by the time he was at the same exit. I didnt really know how fast I was going because in my car 70mph = 140 and thats as high as the gauge goes and there wasnt anyone around me to follow there speed

you really think the cops will search for mustang forums online, read every post trying to find a guy that drove a little bit fast, (his story being mixed in with all the other speeding cop chase stories) track his IP, find out where he lives, go to his house and arrest him just because he was speeding? rigghhhtttt
There was an entire front page article in the Tampa Tribune on street racing and they said they had gotten alot of their "tips" from Tampa racing (another racing forum) and on another forum that I am on there was a cop posting ish while he was busting street racers...don't underestimate...there are alot of cops on the forums...so be careful.

I'm not one for breaking laws, maybe bending them from time to time. But just recently I got busted w/ a redlight photo cam.

They decided to fine me $75 for running a red, that had only been red for 3/10th of a second, WTF?? I hit the crosswalk @ 38mph, I may have a mustang, but no way in hell I can stop THAT quick.

I do want to mention I was past the intersection w/ the light being red for 1.1 seconds.

Apparently they need help with building a stadium here.

I'd fight it in court, but our judges don't like work, so they just side with the law. All I'd hear is "Sir, we've got photos..and don't need common sense, so you're guilty because I'm too stupid to understand physics & momentum"....then I'd get hit with an extra $100 fine.

You mean the light wasn't yellow first? If it was you were just rolling the dice by going through without it turning red. It doesn't matter how long it was red only that it was.

I'm sure the light was yellow first. I don't even remember running it. This is the first time I've done it (well that I know of at least).

It's obvious I ran the light, since they have a photo of me doing it, so I'm just gonna chalk it up to a learned lesson & pay the fine.

maybe not for something like this situation, but they will and have before in the past. i don't know if anyone remembers hearing about a huge racing bust here in Norfolk, VA, but the cops actually found out about it by looking through a local website here. the kids were stupid enough to brag about racing and where they were racing at with the times and everything. the cops just sat back and waited till the planned another one and were waiting with video cameras and everything. i wouldn't put it past them to search forums these days.
