i was on my way home last night was 10pm on the highway there usually no cops. i was doing 140-160 to get home and guess what.. a cop passed turned on his lights. i usually stopped but i was doing 160. and it was dark. i took off doing 180 cut in a dirt road turned off my lights hauld the hand break, ALL lights went off. and seen the cop pass lmao. man feels like im from fast the furioust

you really think the cops will search for mustang forums online, read every post trying to find a guy that drove a little bit fast, (his story being mixed in with all the other speeding cop chase stories) track his IP, find out where he lives, go to his house and arrest him just because he was speeding? rigghhhtttt

I thought I was the only one that did something as stupid as run from the cops........about a week after my brother got his mustang(40th anv gt) identical to mines I passed a cop on a county road in mississippi around about 12 in the morning...I was going around 85-95....on a straight away stretch about 3 miles from my house......there was no way in hell I was about to pull over......after he saw I wasn't actually going to stop he turned his lights off......but I won't do that again.

That's nuts...the worst I did was turn off of a off ramp (it had a light for the right turn lane, too) when the light was still red w/o stopping. There was a cop under the underpass that saw what I did. He flipped on the lights and had to get around traffic, I just turned into a restaraunt and parked watching him drive by. I'm such a badass *end sarcasm*

so I guess you've never avoided the cops casper? I noticed you were from New Hampshire.....I've never been there but down here in the south.......in MS, you don't want to get pulled over at 12 am on a county road with no lights in the area........the only lights being lights from the cars...I don't have any grudge against the police, but even some times you have to take precautions against them........at least in this area.

I once got pulled over by a cop for doing 85 in a 65 but the cop knew my dad. Instead of giving me a ticket, he called my dad who ripped me a new asshole with a belt. Never got caught ever again.

It was interesting that your post talked about maturity. I'm 34 and have been pulled for 105 in a 55 at the ripe age of sixteen. I have always respected the law with the exception of a recent pull-over. I hadn't done anything wrong when pulled. The officer only said that he pulled me because he didn't like my license plate. Go figure 1BDSNAK. Anyway, I wasn't condoning this behavior, simply that I had always imagined it. I agree that pulling over is the best policy, but it doesn't mean that you have to like it.
