Whats up with all these pansy ass people who are afraid to make for debate ..

Look .. me and nottyboy got into it .. and look what happened .. we both learned shit ..

Not to mention .. there is a difference in cars that people don't like and cars that are fucking ugly !!!

Its ok to Argue .. the world we live in is real .. not some make believe fantasy land where we all get along because we drive the same car ...

And after I get done with my power adders, I'm gonna need a tranny rebuild at least to support the mods, so I'm not gonna rev match that often ... aka .. I don't really care .. that doesn't mean its not a good idea ... or that its a bad idea

ok .. great .. good .. later

what happened was you both had your own opinions on what is what
and neither one of you would budge in your opinion..

that is why i proposed to "agree to dissagree"

it has nothing to do with being a "pansy ass"

it is because it was going no-where.

there is a difference between a debate and an argument.

i enjoy a good debate.
arguing it pointless because there is never a winner.

well i see what your saying, however there is no debate that rev matching eases tranny wear and tear...

its like saying beating the shit out of your car will make it last just as long as if you baby it.... its just not true

Actually I am smart...And a smartarse...I might have alittle back-ground in these cars or something to that sort...But what so I know right? What does Darrel know right? It jsut pisses me off when people say stuff and then can back it up with fact...

Double clutching is needed int he older transmissions...In todays transmissions it is really not needed...Yes the syncros are not the greatest thing in the book but the older syncros are far worse...

I have never had to double clutch my car and i go to the track whenever I can...And I can promise you I give this transmission hell...

****KNOCK ON WOOD****

Now given if you are going 100MPH you are going to want to match the shift...But not many of us are down shifting from 100mph...

Of coarse when I had my nothc with the T-5 double clutching could ahve saved prolly all three of my transmissions I went through...

Usually why the 3650 breaks is becuase someone is trying to powershift it that is doing it at the wrong RPM or they are doing it in some other inproper mannor...

I have the info that can tell you there is no difference...

Would you like the Ford Technical Info or would you like the dyno proof?

Becuase I can guarantee you that I will show that the engines are all the same (99-04) other then the places that they were made...Yes there will be some factory freaks out there but I can tell you that it is not year dependent...Thats why most parts except for the water pump are 99-04...They dont say 99-02 or 03/04 only...Unless you count the NX adapter for the fuel rail which does not mean nothing...

bransdaman78 you have done this same thing on Mustang Forums...

I am not trying to whore out this guys threads or anything so if you want to continue this conversation please hit me with a PM...That way we dont whore up this thread and take away from the actual meaning of the thread...

Sorry for the whorage thus far on my part...

I very much enjoy a good debate...

Check through my 8000+ posts...You will see where I have debated quite a few times...My favorite was the guy who said he could run 600rwhp out of a S197 with stock internals daily driven...

Or the guys that claim to have a car and then after some research I find out they really dont ahve anything...

You would be surprised what you can learn about people with a username and google...

I ahve been on both sides of the fence...I ahve been right and wrong...And when I am wrong I admit it...

I don't mind being wrong, I've been wrong many times, but I have a question .. are you running that T Trim on a stock block and if so, why not just run an S Trim ?!

Yes I runnign the T-trim on the stock block...3.4 RR pulley (with MPH boost pipe) and I am suppose to see 12#'s but only see around 11# max becuase of the longtubes...then with the intercooler I ahve sitting in my room I will prolly only see 9#'s or so...

Everyone told me that I was crazy for throwing 12#'s at the stock bottom end...I did it and thus far I have had no issues...And I beat the hell out of it...I wont even lie about that...

I have another block that I am currently building for big boost and the S-Trim can not hold the boost level that I am going for...The T-Trim had alot more in it for the future then the S-Trim...

the T-trim is alot less efficient down in low boost but thrives in higher boost settings...The opposite can be said for the S-Trim...

It was all about planning for me...Plus I got a killer deal on it...

aww geee....

well lets start with this, rev matching saves sychros - no it not something you have to do to drive the car - I NEVER said that, only that it is necessary if your going to beat it alot - it will save your tranny. God help me if do find that tech sheet, not to mention i even said it was so insignifcant its not even worth argueing about - but here you go in a differenet thread bringing it up again, - thats what you and others like you do in on every forum.

and this is coming from somebody who has gone through 3 transmissions, tell ing you how its not necessary... tell you what you do what you think and ill do what i think - and well see who goes through less trannies, wanna put some money down?

well show me a dyno of the 02 and the o3, if the 03 makes 3 or more rwhp+ im gonna go postal!

If you read that again it was on my nothc back which was a T-5...T-5's are natorious for not taking beatings...

T-5's and new transmissions are two different animals...

Yeah I have no problems with my transmission...And I beat the $hit out of it...

Now I do have friends that have broken their trannies...but those were from powershifting and braking the clutch fork...Not saying the 3650 is the end all be all but it is better then the T-5...Me personally I am moving to a Viper Spec T-56 but that is just becuase I will be at the limits of the 3650 in about 6 months when I get my new block in...

And PLEASE show me this sheet...Or hell even find it on the net...You wont becuase it is not true...I have a 03 and 02 motor...They make the same power...

12lbs... sweet, what numbers were you throwing down? i was think of running about 12lbs, and using the extra boost to allow for a more conservative tune

Well can you give me some specs on the new block ... and additions and what you're shooting for numbers wise

I've been told the S Trim can get you to 550 rwhp with heads, blower cams, etc ...

I have the forged internals just working on having the motor completely set up ...

I just don't know if I want to go ahead and slap the S Trim on or Trade up for the T ...

and whats your reason for the new tranny .. after doing some research, with the rebuild kit and around a grand to 1200 I can have the 3650 supporting 750 hp ...
