Its a 02 block...But that could be swapped for the teksid that I found a deal on last week...Still up in the air about the full build...Might just end up buying a MPH shortblock...Who knows...My old engine is tore down now so we will see...If I do go ahead and bite the bullet and build my own it will be close to what the MPH short-block...

No dyno numbers as of yet...Went to the dyno and it was going lean up top so we had to shut down...Sent my dyno shreet and chip back to MPH so Tim could tweak the tune...He sent it abck and I put it in and everything seems all good...Will get numbers after I install the intercooler in my room...400/400 is attainable with my set-up on a conservative tune...

400/400 will come if not more, suprised your not there already a 12 psi, do you have a v2 or v1? Long tubes will help you also

as far as building the motor goes - you will get alot for more your money putting together on your own, I price a build out for 1000hp capable block, with heads that will turn 8k rpm with cams and its right around 6k installed - i know that seems higher, however when your talkin about a full out and complete race motor - thats pretty cheap.

Its all up in the air...Well the heads and cams are definately coming from MPH...And the block may as well...Mine is not really based on that much on the price savings on building my own its really the time it takes...I dont have alot of spare time...I will be installing it though...Its not that hard to do...

Plus my car needs to be close to MPH at the time becuase it will need to be tuned and TIM @ MPH is the only person that will tune my car...

I run a T-Trim V2...

yea the infamous "tim" tune... lol

and why pray tell would your car be on a dyno... run lean (on the "tim" tune) and then mail the chip back to tim... that makes no sense whatsoever... I got you now and I see why you say the things you do. Im just gonna leave it at that.

have a nice night, and good luck with your car

Do you really want to go there? Go to www.modularpowerhouse.com and talk that $hit...

I must really get under your skin...I guess becuase I am one of those kind of people...lol

Anyways this thread is whored ten ways to sunday...

Sorry about that...

Tim can kiss my ass .. I've seen his prices and what he puts out, and I can't see why so many people want to flock to him, if he's that great of a tuner .. awesome .. get the tune .. but the infamous " mongoose kits " please

I run a mongoose kit and love it...

Everything that you need to have your car up and running with a blower is included...

Blower
Piping
MAF
Injectors
Tune
Pulleys
Bolts
Nuts

Everything you need...

I know everyone has their own opinions and you are entitled to them...

I dont know what the car is making right now...I will know for sure when I get the intercooler on...

But remember with my exhaust and intercooler I will only see 9#'s or so on the gauge...

Yes the car was too lean up top...I give them that...I did not care for that part of it...But I shipped the chip back to him and he said the tune should ahve been dead on...So he fattened up still though...Then I cleaned...The MAF and it is all doing fine now...I am staying out of boost till I get my wideband installed...

$3948.95 - S-Trim Includes High-flow fuel pump, High-capacity fuel injectors and ECM chip or module

$3,900.00 - Votech SQ or S-Trim, MPH tune - with X-Cal-2 Flasher, focus fuel pump, 42# injectors, 90mm MAF, Spark plugs, IAT sensor

Hows that a rip off? The top price is right from vortech's site...I mean I know the people on modular fords dont care for Tim for some reason...But then again I am biased and i will admit that...But how many other places does KB GIVE blowers to test them and see what they can get out of them?

Im not trying to turn this into a tuner war I was just wondering...

I'm just sayin .. me and bran found smoking deals from people on ebay and the forums .. I would never buy direct from a site .. i'd rather spend 6 months looking for a deal rather than getting burned for a grand thats my only point ..

I never wrecked a 3650 or a T5 by not "rev matching" or "double clutching".....whatever you want to call it. I have wrecked several from powershifting.

As far as in slow out fast, in fast out fast, in fast shove it up your ass....I don't race roundy round so I'll keep out of that.

I'm a pansy ass.....

Casper .. you're a mod right ... so you read everything .. 99% of my posts are valid ... I don't want to hear that "We're just in here to cause trouble " because I'm NOT and I DON'T !!!

If I was here to cause trouble I'd go around telling everyone that I'm gonna kick their ass and that they are full of shit, which I don't ... so please
