Haha, maybe! It would only be in appearance, though. You def have the wheels I want to finish off 'the look'.
They're coming soon!

Nothing too special about these. From the other day with the winter wheels on...

From the backside (GT500 spoiler coming in March)

checkin in to see if you raced this guy yet, im very interested in the outcome. my brother has a 2010 bmw 2dr 3 series non turb and it is sloooow. 220hp. but the real problem is if its not a manual (my bro has the auto) you will kill him. the first gear will only do to like 4k rpm, second 5, etc and those cars need 6k plus to make the power.
and how much hp does an 06 stang make? the new stang beats the m3 everytime with wheel spin a couple cheap mods and its burns the 70k beemer. there are no cheap mods for bmws and upping the boost with a programmer on a 330 will F those things up.

and what HP do you have? cuz a 5.0 will absolutely murder that. and if you have within 20 hp of him you will win if you put the peddle to the floor (something beemer owners dont know how to do) and your trans is faster despite the specs.

Are you joking? My buddy had a 335i an 08 which is the tt model and it did a 13.3 stock.. He bought a JBII and a decent set of tires and it was a mid 12 second car. And from a roll it was an absolute beast. Best part was he got the chip for under $200 if i remember correctly.. And the auto is not slower then a very well drivien manual.. The only disadvantage the auto will have is from a roll. And a tuned 135i-335i will walk an e90 m3 now around turns is a different story obviously..

i know from alot of experience with beemers there auto trans make them waaaay slower, the trans itself isnt the prblem its the way the computer makes it shift. and they are geared for the autobon good for power over 100mph. If they offered a close gear trans it might be able to pull an OK quarter mile number. but without many expensive mods to those cars thye are very strangley designed and wierd feeling to drive. i guess bmw feels like their suit wearing college costumers wont be racing unlike mustang owners who at one point will gaunteed put the peddle to the floor.

Im assuming you have never driven a newer one? A 335i auto is actually faster than the manual. My dads 550i was the same thing that thing was pretty damn quick for what it was the trans didnt shift slow at all. I dont think you know alot about the 335i's, maybe do a little research. The 335i is a way different animal then the 330i like you said your brother has. And an okay quarter mile time? How about the m5, m6 easy in the 12's in a 4,000 pound car..

i have driven the 2011 m6, 5 series, and all of te 3's including the m3, when i was a valet 3 months ago in malibu, they are all really slow auto transmissions despite the numbers bmw claims in the brochures. my dad had a 2000 5 series, 2004 x5, 2009 x5, and my bro has a 2010 3 something coupe. if the $70K m5 and 6 with 500hp are pulling only 12.60+ they made it wrong, i blame the trans/computer. but maybe those hp #s are bogus has anyone ever dynod one? prolly not, its a gimmicky car, domestics are race proven fast. the 2011 5.0 beats a bmw more than double the price and dont get me started on a 55k gt500 it literally beats every car under 100k not excluding bmws. all i am saying is beemers are slow for the money and their specs 4000lbs or not.

That would be because thats not what there made for. And you can go off of driving them in a valet but i have seen with my own 2 eyes them run pretty damn hard. Auto or not, Let the op go run one and get worked unless he is deep in the 13's and he will still probably get pulled. And tons of people dyno there BMW's. There is a very large fan base for them and believe it or not alot of people mod them. And are you saying BMW's arent race proven? They have been "race proven" for years. And the M5 is simply an amazing car. One that is fast, reliable, fun to drive, big, roomy, etc. At the time nothing would compare to the power, size, and technology of that car and it is still being compared to. And the same goes for the m6 form a roll a zo6 can have its hands full with them, mainly beacause of there 7 speed trans or there smg trans.. But were wandering off topic you said you cant mod them cheap which you can, you said the autos are slow which there not. And an auto 335i will do more than 4k rpm in first gear i dont know what you were talking about there. And there are tons of tuned 335is running around without any issues.. They had problems there very first year in production with turbos going but that was even untuned.. And every car has there fair share of problems in there first year.. Like even the new 5.0 with there clutch issues.

Whats the point of racing if you will ONLY go if you know you have them? Takes all the fun and competition out of it. Challenge anybody and everybody, you never know. There are so many real world variables that make these number punchers hilarious.

1. Race
2. Observe outcome
3. Compare MSRPs
4. Evaluate

And lastly....lol @ BMWs.

2007-2010 335's were N54 motors (twin turbo). They typically dyno 260-280whp. I'd say they are slightly underrated, but not as much as people are saying.
They trap roughly 105 stock but have OPEN differentials

I'd say in order to insure you'd beat him I personally think you will
A. need 3.73's
B. know you can out drive him
but even with gears it'll be close.

If your car is automatic then you will probably get walked from a dig or roll.

Here a 2011 335is with DCT (double clutch tranny at the strip). Be careful for these 335s
These are putting down 300whp/340tq stock.

Exactly. Case in point. I had a BMW M6 (yes, I said M6) pull up to me at a light this past Monday afternoon. Temps were in the mid 70's so I had the top down as well. Light had an extended green for oncoming traffic, so he revved and crept out a little thinking it was going to change so I started slowly bringing up the rpm's (auto) and nailed it when the light changed. I had him by a fender through probably third gear where we had to slow down.
I didn't even get a look over or thumbs up or anything. Douche.
Now maybe he was a bad driver, because I looked up M6's when I got home and they are trapping @ 112~ish. I'm @ 107.
I was very shocked, but happy afterwards.
This was my second run on the street against another car (both were BMW's lol) and I couldn't be happier with the way its running.
Take it for what it is.
You just never know!
