cobalt ss/sc vs good ol stang
Sorry guys this is another who would win. My buddies thinking about getting a 06 cobalt ss/sc and i was wondering if i could keep up with it? the only perforamnce i have done to my car is full exhaust. long tubes o/r h and cat back.

if you wanna keep these threads out of this section i think the only way is to start some sort of a racers bench section open to everyone similar to what mf has set up.
but anyways it should be a pretty good race if it's stock. really close or in his favor from a roll and would be in your favor from a dig.

you will get beat. I have owned a 06 cobalt ss/sc with a stage 3 kit and even stock it destroyed GTs. You best chance with be from a dig but i still think youll lose. My full bolt on gear'd 5 speed GT pulled 2 cars on a STOCK cobalt ss sc.

hold up the 06 cobalt ss/sc only has 205hp and 200lbs trq. and weighs 3000lbs the 99-04gt have 260hp 300lbs trq and wigh 3300lbs. With those statistics how the hell does the cobalt win especially by several cars the weight difference isnt that big as well. Dont make sense?

I agree but how does only a 300lbe weight difference make up for 50hp and a 100ftlbs of trq difference? stang auto or not should win statisticly now the new turbod cobalts are fast but the sc ones are underpowered. That guy wasnt stock either in the video.

umm..autos have like 225rwhp stock. My cobalt ss/sc ran low 13s. Thats full bolt ons and gears for a 5 speed. I dont know why people dis credit those cars. The current record for a stock cobalt ss supercharged 1/4 mile (cobaltss.net) is 14.01 @100 mph, please remind what a stock mustang gt runs again?

Cobalt has exhaust, tune, pulley, bigger injectors etc...Mustang has full exhaust.
the cobalt was def not stock pulley upped his boost and the tune changed everything the gt only had an exhaust.
