06 Cobalt SS Vs. 00 GT

so my boy has a cobalt 06 SS and is dieing to run me......... now im not really big into the racing cause my insurance has gone up like WOO.......... now my GT is stock and he has minimal mods such as intake and a stage 3 clutch (or so i have heard it has not been confirmed) but who do you think the victor would be?????............ if i lose thu i know my man chris could show him something thu???

You would definatly win. And if your modded at all (CAI, Headers, Full Cat-back, Mid-pipe, Tuner, etc...or more) you'll destroy him.

i thought i could...... i just hate these import ass's (i consider the cobalt an import dont know how yall guys feel) that feel the urge to try and un me at every light its always atleast once a day i hear some pissed off bumble bee sounding honda reving up next to me.....grrrr......really chaps my @$$......

Well imo, the Cobalt is a import wanna be, and just an upgraded Cavalier if ya ask me. So go have fun and beatdown some imports, just stay away from the more powerful group (Sti's, Evo's, 350z's, Skyline's, Supra's, Srt-4's, etc...because most will keep up, or burn you) until your Supercharged or Turboed.

I looked both cars up and IMO it would be a close race cuz the 06 ss cobalt was listed as weighing in around 2991 lbs and the 00 GT was listed around 3300 lbs.(the 04 GT I had weighed 3660 lbs. on a CAT truck scale, lol) That weight difference would give the cobalt a lil bit of an advantage, as im sure u know. Plus it supposedly has an intake which would bring down the hp difference between the two cars a lil bit.

Should be a good race. Let us know how it goes (after u kill his ass!)

You only have about a 1/2 second in the 1/4 on him. So yes you will win but no you wont Destroy him. Dont let him do a roll past like 40-50 otherwise he will keep up pretty well, you wont get him by much.
