The time has come


Finally going back to Florida for the first time in 6 months to hang out with my old friends. All of which want to race me now that I have more stuff done lol. My go mods are.. Bbk long tubes, offroad x, steed udp, hurst shifter, 4:10 gears, 295 wide nitto555 tires in rear, jlt intake, and JPC custom tune, ford racing stingers axle back,Roush racing springs, and I believe that's it... The dyno I got which was like 310 wheel hp and 320 torq was before the jpc tune (I did have a bama performance tune tho that did not compensate the headers at time of dyno).

Who I'm racing..

A ms6 who I'm not worried about he's about at high to mid 13s in the 1/4

A stock 2011 5.0 gt with 3.73 package

An old miata that's stripped, idk what he has... I know it's turbo and I know he raved the 5.0 last night from a 40 roll (5.0 was in 3rd) and they stayed head to head in third then the 5.0 pulled the rest.


My question is.. What are my odds?

How should I race for my best advantage A dig? A roll? What roll and gear? Helppp!! Thanks

As for what races to do:

speed6: roll

5.0: dig/roll shouldn't matter. I don't think you're going to win this one, though. sorry

miata: I would start this one from a dig and if he gets you from a dig, I wouldn't even try a roll, because he'll likely get you there, too.

Thanks Chris! BTW.. on a side note, i called before asking for a custom tune for my preditor and was told because i already bought a bama tune in the past that i could still buy into the tunes for life even tho i have the preditor. I tried calling tonight but the tuning side was closed. is this still something i can do? im very unhappy with the tune i got from JPC, decided id try it tho. Engine light stayed on, felt no power increase, speedo off etc.. BAMA/AM FTW.

and a good thing.. the guy who drives the 5.0 isnt the best driver.. and especially from a launch as hes never dragged a car or anything. im sure hel either not launch it, or rev it way to high.so that may be to my advantage!
