Local GT w/ an issue...

I have an '04 v6 w/ only true dual exhaust. There is a highschooler that has a 95 GT w/ ud pulleys, full exhaust, and racing suspension. Instead of trying to race other GT's. All he does is challenge me. Last night at the local Sonic, i pull in to get a drink and he's there. He ask me to race him at least 3 times. I told him that he'd take my car, and he knows it, but he won't challenge any real cars. Only v6's and smaller cars.

All i can say is that someone needs to get some testies and challenge another GT. Anyone else agree on this...and yes i know this is a waist of a thread. I'm just bored and pissed.

That is pretty lame of him.

You should get a huge shot of nitrous, and run his ass in front of a ton of people, beat him, than sell the kit....

I'm just sayin'

Ha! If he lived in Enid (and I knew him well enough to trust my car with him for the day) I guarantee I would do it!

My car is slow, but as long as both his legs and arms work he shouldn't have problems with this particular car.

Cocky people just wear me out.

thx for the ideas, and offers. I plan to get gears, and a detroit locker...then ill be glad to run him. I'll still probly lose, but at least i'd stand a chance. I only got the v6 because im still paying for college, and its a 40 commute to school everyday. When i graduate in 3 1/2 years though im getting an 05 GT. Then id be even happier to race him.

+1

Not too much to worry about. If you had the gears and some traction you'd stand a pretty good chance at winning.

So how much faster did the u/d pulleys make him in all. I'm gonna run him this week one way or the other. By the way...he's got a stick-shift. I could care less if i lose. I've been in plenty of races ( mainly w/ Honda's, and some truck's ), but those where reasonable chances of winning.

I let you guys know how it works out when it happens.
